Event Details

As you are aware, HANYC has been in the forefront of the battle against illegal hotels. To that end, we organized and hosted a ReformBnbconference, the first of its kind, in November, 2018, which was attended by representatives, including government officials from 22 countries and over 30 cities all over the world. City Council Speaker Corey Johnson and NYC Comptroller Scott Stringer were two of our many presenters. We also co-sponsored subsequent Reformbnb conferences in Barcelona and in Buenos Aires.

The Global ReformBnB Forum invites you to join us for a webinar on the short-term rental industry in the Covid-19 world taking place on Wednesday, November 4th at 9am (EST).

The event will open with a presentation by Tom Payne from AirDnA and Kelsey Fenerty from STR, who will use their companies’ excellent proprietary market data to discuss how the lodging sector has changed since the start of the pandemic and what might happen in the future.

This will be followed by a panel of hotel industry representatives and experts on the digital economy who will discuss the political challenges facing the lodging industry today – with a particular focus on the digital economy. Murray Cox, who runs Inside Airbnb (a site which uses Airbnb’s own data to highlight listings in big cities), has tentatively agreed to be a panelist.

We hope you can join us. To register, please follow the link below to the registration page. Agenda to follow. We look forward to seeing you there!
