The Paleudis Law Firm, LLC is a New York City based alcohol beverage licensing law firm. The firm’s liquor attorneys, Michael Paleudis and Leonard Fogelman, have more than fifty years of experience appearing before the New York State Liquor Authority (SLA), the New Jersey Division of Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC), and the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB).

Liquor License Applications:

The Firm prepares and submits various applications to the SLA and ABC including, but not limited to, applications for hotel liquor licenses, on-premises liquor licenses, off-premises liquor licenses, and compliance applications such as alteration applications and applications for approval of corporate change.

Enforcement and Due Diligence:

The Firm represents clients before the SLA and ABC in enforcement actions after licensees have been issued a notice of pleading or other violation by the licensing authority. The Firm regularly represents clients while they are evaluating potential businesses opportunities that involve the trafficking of alcoholic beverages to determine compliance viability and standards for the anticipated business as they relate to the alcoholic beverage control laws.

Commercial Leasing and Real Property Acquisitions:

The Firm’s attorneys regularly negotiate commercial leases on behalf of hotels, restaurants, and bars. In many cases, the Firm negotiates contracts of sale, and closes title, for the buildings in which its clients operate their hotels, restaurants, and bars.

Trademark and Copyright Law:

The Firm’s trademark counsel advises hotels, restaurants, and bars in all matters related to the licensee’s trademarks and copyrights in an effort to avoid, and defend against, infringement actions.
