We are excited to announce that the Hotel Assocition of New York City will be holding its Big Apple Stars Awards Program on Tuesday, October 1, 2024 at 10AM at the Javits Center.
The Big Apple Stars Awards Program is a great opportunity for you to bring public recognition to your exceptional employees. This program serves as a qualifier for the American Hotel & Lodging Association’s Stars of the Industry Award, and as such, we strongly urge you to participate.
Starting today, we will be accepting nominations for four categories, as follows:
- FULL-TIME HOURLY WITH GUEST CONTACT
- FULL-TIME HOURLY WITHOUT GUEST CONTACT
- FULL-TIME ROOM ATTENDANT
- MANAGERIAL BELOW GENERAL MANAGER
We will once again be using an online nomination process this year. By entering your email address and a password of your choosing, you will be able to save your work, go back and make changes to your nominations, add or delete a nomination, and view previous nominations.
You will receive an email confirmation each time you successfully submit a nomination and will be able to confirm your hotel’s nominations by simply checking your online dashboard. Each hotel may only submit one nomination per category.
To acknowledge your most outstanding employees, every nominee will receive a certificate of recognition and each finalist will receive a plaque
