City officials heard numerous positive and negative experiences about Airbnb from residents Wednesday night as the city attempts to craft regulation around short-term rentals in the Cambridge. With roughly 1,800 Airbnb listings, according to the city council, Cambridge has one of the most active short-term rental markets in the Northeast. “There is no plan to get rid of Airbnb as a body I think we all want to keep it all safe, fair and legal, which doesn’t mean it stays the exact same way it is,” said Councilor Craig Kelley….
