The rental terms may be short, but it seems as though regulations on some rentals of single-family properties may soon grow. At its regularly scheduled meeting Monday, Oct. 10, the Malibu City Council began diving deeper into the subject of how to increase regulations on short-term rentals of single-family properties. With the increasing popularity of websites such as Airbnb, regulating what has become an extra source of income for many homeowners — and an annoyance to some neighbors of the properties — has become a hot topic….
