Human Resources Directors Meeting -- Labor Members only

We will be conducting a Human Resources Director meeting on

Monday, October 17, 2022 at 2:00 p.m.

The meeting will be hosted by: The Park Central Hotel, 870 7th Avenue

It will be held in the Manhattan Skyline room on the Hotel’s mezzanine level.

As you may have experienced, there has been an increase in contract grievances and cases at the Office of the Impartial Chairperson on such issues as: the use of third parties, managers working overtime when employees are on layoff and improper layoff notices.  We intend to address these issues and other union issues at the meeting by reviewing decided and pending IC cases in the context of the IWA, Division A and GRIWA. 

In addition, we will cover other topics such as the lifting of the New York City private sector employer COVID-19 vaccine mandate, the New York City and Westchester County Salary Transparency Laws, amendments to the New York State Paid Family Leave Law, the New York State Electronic Monitoring Law, and New York City’s Biometric Identifier Information Law.
