The City of Vancouver has taken its battle with Airbnb to B.C. Supreme Court — petitioning to stop the nightly rental of a two-bedroom townhome in Fairview Slopes. The petition cites Vancouver’s zoning bylaw as a rationale for prohibiting the rental of a home or apartment for a period of less than one month unless it’s part of a hotel or bed and breakfast….
