Council Member Torres has represented the 15th Council District in the Central Bronx since 2013. In his first term, he chaired the Committee on Public Housing overseeing NYCHA, and in his second term he became Chair of the Committee on Oversight and Investigations. Torres won a tough primary for the open Congressional seat in June. A young, smart, pragmatic progressive and a rising star in city and national leadership, the Council Member will discuss how together we can address the pressing challenges of our time to reimagine New York City.
