The jousting between Airbnb and New York City continues. Mayor Bill de Blasio is infusing $2.9 million into the team tasked with cracking down on Airbnb. According to Crain’s, the city’s Office of Special Enforcement will add another 16 staffers to its 32-member team (made up of building inspectors, lawyers and police officers) devoted to penalizing landlords and leaseholders who rent entire apartments out for fewer than 30 days…
