TOMS RIVER — A new law that would place limits on home-sharing services like Airbnb was introduced Tuesday night by the Township Council. The ordinance would prohibit short-term rentals of less than 30 days in all areas of the township except the barrier island sections on the Barnegat Peninsula. There, short-term rentals — with a minimum of three days — will be allowed between April 15 and Sept. 15. Property owners will not be allowed to lease more than one room in a home…
