Sadiq Khan has warned a new law may be required to ensure Airbnb does not worsen London’s housing crisis. The mayor has written to MPs detailing his “concerns” that the potentially more lucrative short-term holiday rental service is reducing the number of long-term rentals in the capital. Mr Khan has also highlighted worries about anti-social behaviour including noise pollution and refuse dumping connected to Airbnb properties….
