Niagara Falls City Councilwoman Kristen Grandinetti has been offering two rooms in her Orchard Parkway home on the website Airbnb for about a year. Last week, her account became the subject of a local uproar not unlike the digital platform’s reception nationally and abroad. Grandinetti subsequently received a letter from Acting Building Commissioner Louis Fontana that mandated her compliance with local residential codes for operating a “bed and breakfast.”…
