A group of breakaway state Senate Democrats on Monday released a report showing potential “rooms of doom” being advertised on Airbnb in the city. The Senate Independent Democrat Conference, or IDC, report found issues where tourists slept in kitchens lined with air mattresses or beds next to washer and dryers. Overall, the report found 110 Airbnb hosts offered up units for parties of at least 13, posing potential code violations. “What we found when we examined these individual sites is really potential rooms of doom,” said IDC Leader Jeffrey Klein (D-Bronx)….
