The Hotel Association of New York City, Inc. will be holding its 24th Annual Hotel Industry Walkathon for Charity on Sunday, September 13, 2015. The Walkathon Kickoff Rally will be held at 9:00am at the Roosevelt Hotel, 45 East 45th Street at Madison Avenue, New York, NY 10017 (Grand Ballroom – Mezzanine Level).
This year’s Walkathon for charity is for Safe Horizon. Safe Horizon is one of the nation’s leading non-profit victim service assistance organizations which touches the lives of more than 250,000 children, adults and families affected by crime and abuse each year.
The organization offers assistance to victims including shelter, advocacy, in-person counseling, legal services and more, through 57 program locations. Whether they are responding to child abuse, domestic violence or other violent crimes, Safe Horizon helps victims and their families heal and rebuild their lives.
